For the September 2012 format what do you think will be more effective, Effect Veiler or Maxx "C"? Or do you think neither of them will be effective in the new format?

I personally agree that Maxx "C" is going to be better than Effect Veiler this format. Wind-Ups, Agents, and KG are the decks to beat IMO and Maxx "C" works amazingly versus those.

Both will still be an important part of the meta, but my personal favorite is Effect Veiler.

Effect Veiler in Main deck-Maxx C in side deck.

Umm veiler in main and sometimes maxx c in main. Tho side Maxx C most of the time.

i would say 3 veiler 1 maxx mained or 2 maxx 2 veiler mained. i guess it depends on your meta and your play style.

What if i said none as main, yes, perhaps i agree more to add maxx "c" to side and main veiler, however take a close look the the decks that will certainly be a tier 1 this year, you'll notice that neither of Maxx "c" or effect veiler can work full power in round 1 duels, if you are playing a match duel, there is a chance of 50/50 they will end up dead draws, i tested few decks, and i like the idea of 2 effect veilers and 2 maxx "c" in my side deck instead of main them.

They just aren't staple anymore.Before i have to put one or both of them in deck.Now only if i find a place in main deck, otherwise it's for side.

tbh, the real question should be, what would be the new staple monsters lol

But still, it does depend on the new decks that will rise this format

Effect veiler. For all the talk of wind-ups dying to maxx c, it actually stops them from killing me if they feel like overextending.

I prefer Effect Veiler. So I agree, EV in Main, Maxx in side. But I tbh, let's see how the format goes.

I have to say Effect Veiler, I radder stop the problem here and now radder than draw more cards and find out I have absolutely nothing to do vs my opponent.
