| 1. :: Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of The Beginning ::
This is the "go to" boss monster for any deck, almost any archetype/deck will also have a variant that is modified just to use this card - it was banned for a very very good reason. At 3000 Atk alone it dwarfs any other meta monster without support. It's type and attribute allow access to support cards such as Honest. Both effects are fundamentally "broken" and for no cost can generate significant advantage. Aside from this the summoning cost is the biggest issue - barring maybe Master Hyperion or Gorz this card requires the least Set-up of any boss monster in order to be summoned.
2. :: Evolzar Dolkka ::
I'd argue that the single greatest disruption card in the current game is Evolzar Dolkka. Almost every meta deck relies on a significant push based on monster effects, when Dolkka is present it forces the opponent into a situation where they either have the necessary cards to deal with it or they must attempt to play through Dolkka. This leads to the second issue with Dolkka, like Laggia, Shi-En or LaDD it is imperative to have 2 outs or a combination play (Tour guide + Forbidden Chalice), this means you are always losing card advantage against Evolzar Dolkka .There will be some cases in which you can Dark Hole, Smashing Ground, D. Prison etc. without any response, but most often when Dolkka hits the field it is an indication that there is sufficient S/T negation set.
3. :: Gorz, The Emissary of Darkness ::
I know some people will say it isn't a boss monster, but if the definition of a boss monster is a card that can single handed change the game in your favor then Gorz is the epitome. It was limited to 1 on release and has stayed there ever since. As a card alone it has good synchro potential, generates advantage through a token and provides an effective wall to most OTK's. It is possibly one of the most versatile cards ever made.
4. :: Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World ::
The card is broken, possibly more so than some cards above it. On the other hand, it is a Dark World card, it is part of a deck that is inconsistent and easily sided against. As a result I've placed it lower than it could be in most lists.
5. :: Machina Fortress ::
Machina Fortress? A searchable Lvl 7 2500atk monster that can be inherently summoned from hand or the Graveyard whose effects influence your opponent to only use S/T based monster destruction preferentially over monster effects and battle? With Gadgets refilling the hand and Gear Gigant X now TCG legal it is possibly the 2nd most recoverable boss monster ever.
Whilst I agree Master Hyperion is broken I feel that Fortress is a slightly bigger threat as it has additional consequences of being destroyed and has no summoning restrictions.
I'm hungry....brb |

| 1. Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning (Like if you dont have this in your top then you must not be playing competitively lately.) 2. Evishki GustKraken (The next Wind-Up loop ) 3. Dark Armed Dragon (When he comes out, everybody bricks) 4. Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World (He is scary not mater where he is at: In hand, Field, or Graveyard. Not the Banish zone, cuz he can sit there and suck his thumb all day long ) 5. Lightpulsar Dragon (Destroy it , Brings REDMD , Use his eff to bring back Lightpulsar , Bring in 1 more Pulsar and a BLS ) well there is my 5, i bet everybody didnt think about GustKraken and if you didn't heard about this card than beware because its coming to a duel near you |

Yeah gustkrakken will be limited in september though, so the loop won't be too big of an issue. |

It's way too optional to be broken. I'd rather go for Brio, to be honest. |

| Don't think Dollka and Laggia should both be up there.
Plus Laggia only really works if they bring it out before you bring out a decent sized monster.
Grapha's prob gonna be more played, who knows it may go up on the "broke" scale |

| Ice Boundary has the best Boss monsters in terms of Archetypes. Naturia and Evol come next. As a whole I can't really list them in any order or compile a list. Too many options. |

| The card's way too easy to summon and destroy. The aftermath effect is the most legit part, not the part where it's attacked is boosted, tbh lol.
But if I were to increase the number, I'd put shining to prolly between 8 to 10. |

| The Shining can be a big threat sometimes but the card can have its cons like its effect can misstiming a couple of times (which i dont like cuz im a hero duelist). Shining is 50/50 card so i dont think it would be in the broken boss monster list. what i think a good Hero boss monster that can be on the list is Absolute Zero. He is the man. |

| Heroes don't really seem like boss monsters besides Ab Zero. They just have boss cards in which most happen to be quick plays.
1. Super Poly 2. Mask Change 3. Gemini Spark the only non quickplay is Miracle Fusion. retarded cards. |

| Quasar isn't on the list because it's a lot more conditional to summon like Hyperion/BLS/etc.
Is Zero considered less situational than Shining? Well since this format people were siding/maining a lot of cards which made Shining miss timing |
