Well what I see on DN is a lot of 1 post teams. They just have random members that their only post is the post of confirmation on the topic. In all honesty I think inorder to form a team you should have to fit some good credentials and the members must also fit a certain criteria as well. Our War section on DN is clogged with inactive teams like the ones I described. I agree that type of situation needs to be fixed. Having teams communicate via skype, etc, is the best way to get them to get to know one another. However this is something that would be incredibly hard to enforce and would be a mess to try and enforce. But skype is the best way I know for this.

About trading section, ofc it can only be for trading cards because none of the real teams would want to trade, so I should make it? I doubt someone will trade cards anyway but we can try lol.

In my opinion I would wait until the site gets more active (if it does). The way it is now I don't think it needs a trading section.

Also, the links on the side (CP) open in a new tab. This done on purpose or no?

City Arena got new icons. Rankings have now icon that suits em, and wars have kaiba's old duel disk as icon. Reason is because the wars are done with duels and to duel you use duel disk or duel arena. Duel arena as icon is not so appealing but duel disk is. I tried some swords fortress and usual war stuff but it didn't look so much related to ygo.

Also we added Rules & Rulings as well as Pimp my Deck sections in Yugitown.

About Control Panel, i fixed it.

Yeah in those areas it seems likea good idea. I don't mind that. Was just annoying clicking avatar/signature and being sent to a new page.

I wouldn't mind seeing a more robust Off-Topic section.

That would be a good idea. It think sub forums help with not having everything thrown together in a pile. Seperate Games, Movies, Music, etc. & same goes for other things.

But I really don't know your direction for the site. If you want it to be a community site, strictly war business or a combination of both. So this suggestion really does depend on that.

What I really want depends much on what you people want

My wishes are done, I've made the site before my online career ends for you ppl to have a cool site where you can make your own wishes come true. Of course main direction is wars, every site has one main direction but also every site can expand on its general idea depending on what members want and what they post. This will be answered with time ofc.

Either way, there is no harm in subforums added to off topic. I already got good icons for it.

Hmm...kinda conflict then doesn't it? It would just become like any other forum if we made it too community-like if what the main focus is, is wars. Seems like it should just be business if that's the case.

I'll try and be in the chatbox more. And make things interesting... within the rules of the site ofc.

Thing with the chatbox is that everyone atm is waiting for the new banlist to come and thus no wars are done yet nor we want to open up other events. As soon as the new banlist comes up that shall change. Also, most people here are not adapted to chat use. Most of them use skype, unlike ppl from DA for example, they are addicted to Chatbox and use it over everything else. Its all in habits

Also, I added few subforums in off-topic. Needed to change few icons here and there because ygo general talk icon was more anime and manga based but i used it for general talk because it looked pro and there was no section for it yet which now changed lol.

About all community stuff and what the forum direction will be, it can't affect much Academy activities. People dedicated there like to use dorm system, to be graded and to feel like "roleplaying academy in a forum". If this site expands to supporting more than just wars and events like tournaments, that would not take academy activities because this site gets few members from everywhere, not like all the sites are transferred here. If that would be the case, we wouldn't have only 150 members registered but already 1000 lol.

Probable I can suggest something here if this forum should be focusing more about wars, why not put up a list of all the Academies that has joined in this forum so far. the list can be put somewhere at the side next to the top posters, or at the top next to the tabs. You know, something that any member should be able to see at all times. I think it would be cool for new members when they come and see the site, they will see that list of academies that have joined in and actually see how big the competition is. They might probable decide to join in a new academy or bring in their academy to the competition.
