I have been racking my brain trying to find some anime to watch lately. Been looking around and doing some research and such. I haven't seen a whole lot of anime, but here is what I have seen.

I pretty much like Slice of life, romance and/or Harem animes. Probably wouldn't guess that if you seen me xd. Anyway, I also enjoy paranormal animes and ones that deal with strange powers.


My favourites out of that list are animes like Haruhi and Toradora!. I like action animes sometimes, it just depends on the anime TBH.

Nope never seen it. Art style bothers me. I am very picky with art style sometimes. I can however overlook it sometimes.

I'd suggest it, the art style is pretty weird for the first few, but the plot is fantastic, and the art gets better. it's worth it trust me.

Kind of want to avoid the mainstream animes and such.

I'm picky with the anime I choose to watch. I have to like the style and the way the characters are drawn >.<

Maybe you seen my topic about it over at TWA but have you seen, "Another"? It's a very eerie, suspenseful anime. I guess it could be classified in the horror genre. It's really short, only about 12 episodes. Though I wouldn't recommend it if you don't like blood

Yah, that sums it up. It's like Final Destination if I had to compare it to anything. Nothing jumps out at you, just tragic events plague a classroom.

Code Geass and Angel Beats are next on my list

I loved both of them. You are in for a real treat. I prefer Angel Beats to CG due to my tastes in anime. But hey, I have a CG T-shirt but not an AB one xd.

Fate/Stay Night + the movie Unlimited Blade Works

Basically it's about a boy named Shirou that is the only survivor of a great fire that burned down a whole district of a city and got adopted by a man named Emiya Kiritsugu who happens to be a mage. Later on Shirou starts magic training but is not very good at it, further on Kiritsugu dies and leaves his dream to Shirou (to become a super hero). When he is a second year in high school it's time for the 5th Holy Grail War and he get's dragged in "accidentally" in it and summons what it seems the strongest class Servant, Saber. There are seven Servant Classes: Saber, Archer, Rider, Lancer, Caster, Berserker, Assassin. Our hero ends up falling in love with his servant Saber (in the fate route).

Fate/Stay Night is based of the Visual Novel Fate/Stay Night that has 3 route, Fate, Unlimited Blade Works and Heaven's Feel (the biggest Mind [Word Censored] there is).

Also before watching Fate/Stay Night watch Fate/Zero (which is before Stay Night).

Actually watch Fate/Stay Night. It's less confusing and you know what's going on.
If you go for Zero you'll have no interest in the characters and lose patience in the anime.

Slice of life you say, surprised that none mentioned School Days. Probably you must've heard of it since everyone is like "Ohhh, School Days! Dude, why you had to ruin my day..?!"
If you dunno what I'm talking about I suggest to just take the anime and stay away from spoilers as much as possible, because if you get attached with the story and the characters the ending will totally mess with you.

I've watched over 273 animes but it's always hard to recommend, because most of them are forgetable. So, I'll keep remembering and you keep watching.

For example Durarara. A great slice of life?! Ya, with lovable characters and humor that you "wtf" and "lol" at the same time. Really really great.

Try putting a whole visual novel into 24 episodes. Since a read both novels I have no problems.
