How To Gishki Empty
PostSubject: How To Gishki   How To Gishki I_icon_minitimeMon Aug 20, 2012 7:52 pm

Not going to post the loop because the format is basically over.

This is another how to but on Gishki. Gishki Lost the hand loop they had but the deck is far from dead. You can still pick out lots of cards from your opponent. This deck can also side well versus the upcoming meta the new format shall bring.
In my eyes these 5 decks will start the format off.

1. Gravekeeper
2. Darkworld
3. Six Samurai
4. Hieratic
5. Gadget
Other decks will still be good, but I feel these 5 to be the most seen coming out of new format. The list will probably change though as the format moves on.

Gishki Decks have 3 really good Ritual Monsters as of right now.

1. Gustkraken which started the hand loop. You look at 2 cards in your opponents hand and select one and it goes back in the deck. This can slow big decks down and getting to see 1 card and placing the more threating card in the deck is just really good.

2. Mind Augus which has lots of uses. You can use it as Transmigration Prophecy or use it as a Pot of Avarice. You can hit spells and traps to make your Reborn live again and so on.

3. Tetraorge has it's uses as well. All these are level 6 and can be used in conjunction with the Hieratic engine. This guy however when summoned declares monster, spell, trap and your opponent can discard to negate its effect.(not negate and destroy) This is ver useful versus decks like Heroes where you call spells, or any deck really.

Deck 1: Gishkiratic

Monsters: 22

3 Gishki Abyss
3 Gishki Shadow
3 Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit
2 Hieratic Dragon of Su
2 Evigishki Tetraorge
2 Effect Veiler
1 Evigishki Mind Augus
1 Evigishki Gustkraken
1 Gishki Vision
1 Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
1 Wattaildragon
1 Luster Dragon
1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness

Spells: 14

3 Gishki Aquamirror
2 Hieratic Seal of Convocation
2 Pot of Duality
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn
1 Salvage
1 Creature Swap
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Book of Moon

Traps: 4

2 Spiritual Water Art - Aoi
1 Solemn Judgment
1 Dark Bribe

This deck focuses on getting cards out of your opponents hand while at the same time you make big monsters that are hard to get over. Choices I made that you guys might or might not agree with is the 3rd Su. I did two for you not drawing 3 Su as Tefnuit is a better card for the deck. With taking away threats with Gustkraken and Tetraorge you Su is really not needed in hitting backrow. Also with 2 Spiritual Water Art you can chain it to the opponent's bottomless or torrential taking out another card from there hand as well as getting your effect off. One Gishki Vision is to get to your Gustakraken faster if you don't draw the Abyss. Also first turn Abyss summon with Spiritual Water Art is a good play as well. Dark Bribe is here for more protection over Dark Hole, Book of Moon, and other cards that could potentially cause problems.

Deck 2: GishkiHandControl

Monsters: 22

3 Gishki Abyss
3 Gishki Shadow
2 Gishki Vision
2 Don Zaloog
2 Spirit Reaper
2 EviGishki Tetraorge
2 Effect Veiler
1 Evigishki Gustkraken
1 Evigishki Mind Augus
1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
1 Tsukuyomi

Spells: 16

3 Gishki Aquamirror
2 Pot of Duality
2 Mystical Space Typhoon
2 Salvage
1 Allure of Darkness
1 Reinforcement of the Army
1 Pot of Avarice
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn
1 Book of Moon

Traps: 2

2 Spiritual Water Art - Aoi

This deck is like the first, but a different way to play it. You could call this a budget version if you choose as this version and it's extra deck are cheaper than the above. Both decks are really strong and go for the same goal.

Deck 3: Gishkivo

Monsters: 22

3 Evotile Najasho
3 Evolsaur Cerato
2 Evolsaur Diplo
2 Evolsaur Vulcano
2 Gishki Abyss
2 Gishki Vision
2 Gishki Shadow
2 Evotile Weslo
2 Effect Veiler
2 Evigishki Mind Augus

Spells: 15

3 Gishki Aquamirror
3 Evo-Force
3 Evo-Diversity
1 Pot of Daulity
1 Dark Hole
1 Heavy Storm
1 Monster Reborn
1 Book of Moon
1 Pot of Avarice

Traps: 4

2 Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai
2 Spiritual Water Art - Aoi

This deck is 41 cards. The goal of this deck is to constantly make Laggia and Dolka and then recycle your cards with Mind Augus to do it over again. When Laggia or Dolka gets destroyed you can use your Mind Augus to return spells and traps so with targetting 5 cards you could return 2 Najasho, 2 Evo-Force, and something in either players grave that suits your liking. The spiritual fire art was a tech choice of mine. If you tribute Dolka or Laggia you inflict more than 2000 damage. This is really good. The lower the opponents lp's the lease liking you will be hit with Solemn Warning and definitely if your getting in damage by attacking. Mind Augus is also really good because it can suicide with Shien and other 2500 monsters that are dangerous. This deck is very well thought out as Naturia Beast is not as much of a threat with Weslo and you can xyz next turn as Cerato is a pretty big monster. This might not look competitive, but it works really well. First turn Force Najasho is the best and Laggia is a big threat at that time. 1 Duality because you tend to special and if you don't have a first turn Laggia then you can duality. Also with the EvoGishki Deck you have this cool option as well. If you somehow have no plays and you set Najasho next turn sommon a level 4 and then use Aquamirror to tribute both for a lv6. You will get the eff of Najasho and have a another monster.

There are other builds I have as in GishkiChaos.

All the decks should play a good number of rank 6 xyz's beside the last one.
Also not all the cards from gishki are being used because they are to slow and usually your goal is to have a big monster on the field.

I don't play soul Orge for the reason of not having the other Lv 8 to use as discard fodder. I do have a level 8 version of the deck, but not all the cards are out yet and so it wouldn't be playable.

The side decks for these cards can vary as they are all different. You could play a monarch version of the deck and use Tenuit as your treeborn as well as have a regular treeborn.

If you guys want me to post my GishkiMonarchs, GishkiChaos, and Gishkilv8 just comment below.
